1) Choose the shoes of the correct size.

5) Put the insoles comfortable and able to support the foot.
In shoe stores and in some pharmacies you can find different models of insoles to be included in footwear to get more support and comfort.
When you buy shoes to make sure you get those from the removable insole, so you can replace it with a more comfortable and better arch support, depending on your needs.
You can choose neoprene (foam rubber), latex memory foam, gel or other materials.
Some research has shown that neoprene, in particular, is able to reduce the incidence of blisters.
The insoles, especially the orthopaedic ones, are available in different models to offer comfort to the different types of feet. Try different shapes until you find the right ones for your shoes and your foot.

6) Change shoes often.
