Apply Natural Products

1) Apply raw honey.
It is a substance with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that make it excellent for your purpose; look for a product that is totally natural and raw.
Dip a cotton swab or cotton bud into honey and dab on the pimple. Leave it for about 15 minutes and then rinse with warm water, being careful not to rub or rub a pimple; you can proceed with this remedy as needed.
Alternatively, you can create a mixture of cinnamon or turmeric powder with honey; always use the cotton swab to apply it to the imperfection. 4) Apply witch hazel or apple vinegar.

Both are known for their astringent properties and may reduce swelling and redness; you can find them at the supermarket, in the shops of natural products, in herbalist shops or in natural cosmetics stores.
Apply either one or the other indifferently to a pimple using a cotton swab and let it dry; You can proceed with this treatment several times throughout the day or night.
If the skin appears irritated after applying the apple vinegar, stop the treatment.

5) Use lemon juice.
It is an excellent antibacterial and natural anti-inflammatory; for this remedy, you must use the juice of a freshly squeezed lemon.
Squeeze one or two drops on a cotton bud and dab on the pimple; keep the place for five minutes and rinse the skin with warm water at the end. You can do three or four treatments a day using a new cotton swab every time.
The lemon juice is slightly acidic, so it might pinch a little when you apply it to a pimple; in addition, it also has a slight whitening effect, so you do not need to export to the sun immediately after using it. The juice can make the pimple clearer and you may notice that the complexion at that point takes on a less intense shade.

6) Try aloe vera.
It is a plant traditionally used to promote healing and alleviate the inflammation of irritated skin; it also has astringent properties and can therefore “pull” the skin a bit when it dries. You can get the gel by breaking a leaf of the plant and squeezing the lymph; alternatively, you can buy it in stores of natural products or even online.
Wet a cotton bud with gel, apply it directly on the pimple and wait for it to dry; subsequently, rinse with warm water. Repeat the application twice a day, using only 100% pure aloe.
If you are using the gel from a leaf, you can store it in the refrigerator to keep it fresh; use it until you have consumed all the sap.
Be careful not to swallow it, as its oral consumption is associated with diarrhoea, electrolyte imbalance and renal dysfunction.

7) Apply eye drops.
These reddened eye drops contain tetrahydrozoline, an active ingredient that forces blood vessels; it can, therefore, reduce blood flow in the area of a pimple, eliminating redness at the same time, although it is a temporary effect.

Keep in mind that this remedy only takes effect for a short time, usually no more than an hour, so you should apply it only shortly before or during the important event you want to attend.

7) Use an aspirin-based mixture.
Contains salicylic acid, which relieves inflammation and redness of the skin; make sure that the tablet you use does not have a gastro-resistant coating since you have to dissolve it to apply it.
Put two or three tablets in a tablespoon of water, wait for them to dissolve and mix the mixture to form a dough; dab it on the pimple and leave it in place until it dries. When finished, rinse with warm water.

8) Try a targeted treatment based on salicylic acid.
You can buy for free sale a product to apply on the pimple to reduce redness, available as a gel or lotion; use only a small amount directly on the area to be treated and let it work all night.
Look for one that has a concentration of 0.5-1% of salicylic acid with a pH of 3 or 4; if you suffer from stubborn acne, choose a 2% product. Some facial cleansers contain this active ingredient, but the acid works best when it is left to dry on the skin and such products may not be as effective as a tonic, gel or lotion.
